Water industry professionals can obtain credits through online course
SENECA FALLS, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE )--Goulds Water Technology (GWT), a Xylem brand, is pleased to announce the recent approval for the GWT Factory School’s Basic Water Systems Training e-learning course for continuing education units (CEUs) in the state of Indiana. The course, made up of 11 modules, is two hours in length and is offered to water industry professionals at no cost.
The Indiana Department of Natural Resources – Division of Water requires six CE hours per license period. The Factory School’s Basic Water Systems Training course has been approved for well drillers and pump installers to receive two CE hours upon completion.
Throughout the course’s modules, registrants learn about typical home water systems, the physical principles behind pump operation, discharge conditions, water well pumps, jet pumps, submersible pumps, understanding pump curves, determining necessary pump types, sizing and selecting jet and deep well pumps, sizing and selecting submersible pumps and an overview of pressure storage tanks.

The Basic Water Systems Training course can be accessed from any computer or tablet with Internet connectivity. A certificate is provided for registrants to print upon completion of the course.
